Could there be an option to have the bar not show (when bar is hidden) when a notification is shown? This can cover items underneath the bar such as browser tabs. This can hamper productivity (I know I can use vertical tabs, and I will eventually).

Any way to disable the bar from showing when bar is hidden? I believe this was discussed before, but thought I should ask again @zach .
