The desktop does not update the moment a change is made to the Desktop folder. It requires a restart to show up.
Both when the file is already deleted and when the file is still present: Right clicking to remove the file does not actually delete the icon itself. File is deleted if present.
Open With function not functional (might be missing dependency).
I assume the desktop is not refreshing on changes made in ~/Desktop causing the first issue.
