In the date bar module, as far as I can see, there is only one way to view/format the date. Which is Ex. Sat 2 May. Can it be made that I can view it as dd/mm/yy or Mon dd/mm/yy or Mon dd/mm, etc. Also, a way to view May as 05 instead?

Added in 8a2eeb6c31, config option is in the General category. Only added to the clock widget, I don't know if I use date format anywhere else

Looks good!
Settings could use some guidance. For example; m and M are minutes and Months, which could perhaps get a guide or legend so the user knows what it represents. Another example would be, yyyy being required for knowing the year, but what about yy? Would that be possible? Best to cover the possible options I'd say.
